Proud to Lend a Hand to the Best Community Organizations Around

As one of the nation’s leading lenders, we’re fortunate to be in a position where we can support our local communities as well as some of their favorite organizations. In fact, our recent “Lending a Hand” campaign allowed us to make donations to a variety of organizations in the neighborhoods we live and work. Seeing the impact of these organizations is something that fills everyone at Heights Finance with hope and pride. Recently, we received a few thank you notes and wanted to share them with the amazing employees who made these donations possible.

Our relationship with Shriners Hospitals for Children® began back in November of last year. Through all the donations they received in 2020, Shriners Hospitals for Children® was able to welcome 57,138 new young patients, care for a total of 145,608 patients and serve children from over 170 countries. In their touching note, they said, “Your support allows us to keep moving forward, helping even more children become as healthy, active and independent as possible.” With a mission like that, we couldn’t be more proud to be a part of the progress. The Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth was another one of the organizations we supported during our “Lending a Hand Campaign.” Their mission for the past 40 years has been to provide a “home-away-from-home” for families, allowing them to stay close to their children at no cost. In a recent note they wrote, “Thank you for believing that sometimes the best medicine of all is having family nearby!” The mission of the Ronald McDonald House extends around the world with 368 houses supporting families. Heights Finance also made a donation to the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital, located in Charleston, SC. Their facility is well-known for having an advanced, nationally ranked, pediatric cardiology program that treats children and adults of all ages through its adult congenital heart program. In their letter, they wrote, “Your leadership makes such a difference in our ability to provide the best possible care for our young patients and make significant strides in pediatric research.” How could we not get behind that? Visit musckids.org to learn more about all the amazing things happening at MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital.

We were also extremely happy to hear from the V Foundation for Cancer Research. Their mission of funding game-changing cancer research and all-star scientists is a cause near and dear to our hearts. In their thank you note, they wrote, “It will take an all-in effort to arrive at a future that is cancer-free. Thank you for being a part of our team.” To learn more about the foundation or how to become a part of the team visit, v.org.

Last but certainly not least is the Mark Kelly Have Hope Foundation. Located in Bedford County, Tennessee, the foundation helps fund pediatric cancer research as well as financially support families in the area who have children fighting cancer. We are proud to support a foundation built on community and volunteers whose sole goal is to make sure no family or child fights cancer alone. It goes without saying that everyone at Heights Finance is proud to support these great organizations. Knowing that there are people dedicated to such valiant causes gives us hope for a happier, healthier future. It also motivates us to continue working hard so that we can continue to support them. Stay tuned for more updates on our work with community organizations and be on the lookout for more opportunities to help us help others.
