Hopefully, with no air-balls. If you’re a college basketball fan, you’ve probably been looking forward to this month all year. But, if you’re not familiar with the thrill of this competitive sport, I’ll give you a few pointers.
With the competition in full swing, you know the games will be televised and streaming across the nation! Regular television, cable TV, and multiple streaming platforms will play the games. Here are some ways to enjoy them with friends, strangers, and on your own. Find out which one is a winner for you.
Bring the party to your house. Invite your biggest sports, or foodie, fans and create your own March Madness play-by-play. There are several games, so trading hosting responsibilities with your friends could be a great way to share the basketball love. Whether it’s a potluck, family style, or fancy cuisine, here’s your excuse to socialize with your friends and watch the game.
If you like having sports-watching company without the clean-up, there are plenty of bars, grills, and restaurants ready to open a booth for you. Remember, lots of people like to watch the games in a social setting with food and drink at the ready. So, if you are particular about where you want to watch, get there early enough to pick where you want to sit. When these restaurants fill up, most people won’t be leaving for hours.
Love the idea of watching basketball, but hate the idea of sharing your personal bubble? Make the tourneys into YOU time. Block the game times out on your calendar, get your favorite snacks and drinks, and let the good times roll! Or, this is a great time for a relaxing mani/pedi while you watch.
